Our Mission & Impact

Vision

We envision a country where no life is lost to preventable overdose — where all communities are equipped with the tools, knowledge, and compassion to respond to the opioid crisis with hope, equity, and resilience.

Mission

Distribute. Educate. Empower.

Narcare equips individuals and communities with life-saving resources like naloxone and harm reduction education. Through deep partnerships and grassroots action, we aim to prevent overdose deaths and challenge the stigma that surrounds addiction.

Values

  • We believe overdose deaths are preventable — and every person deserves a chance to survive and thrive.
  • We treat addiction as a public health issue, not a moral failing.
  • We are committed to dismantling stigma, fear, and misinformation through accurate education and compassionate outreach.
  • We meet people where they are — physically, emotionally, and culturally — with respect and dignity.
  • We center communities that are disproportionately affected by the opioid crisis, including people experiencing poverty, homelessness, and systemic oppression.
  • We believe naloxone should be as available and expected as fire extinguishers and AEDs.
  • We build power by working together — with students, local leaders, shelters, food banks, and families.
  • We support all pathways to healing, recovery, and wellness.
  • We know that by empowering even one person, we can spark a ripple effect of life-saving impact.
